The National Bank of Rwanda left its benchmark interest rate unchanged at 6.5% during its February 2025 meeting, marking the second consecutive meeting with no changes. Policymakers said that inflation was expected to remain within the central bank's target range of 3%-8%. Meanwhile, the inflation forecast for this year was raised to around 6.5%, up from 5.8%, with a projection of 4.1% for the next year.
