Ruanda Tasa De Inflación

Rwanda's annual inflation rate eased for the second month to 3.8% in February 2025, from 5.7% in the previous month. Prices slowed primarily in the heavyweight category of food and non-alcoholic beverages (1.5% vs 4.1% in January), mainly due to a 4.9% fall in vegetable costs. Price growth also moderated for alcoholic beverages & tobacco (3% vs 6.5%); housing & utilities (1.7% vs 4.2%); health (1.7% vs 2.1%); recreation & culture (4.2% vs 6.2%); and transportation (18.5% vs 19.3%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by 0.9% in February after decreasing by 1.6% in the preceding month.
