The unemployment rate in Denmark stood at 2.6% in December 2024, unchanged from the previous four months and remaining at its highest jobless rate since October 2021. The number of unemployed individuals decreased by 0.1 thousand from a month earlier to 78.1 thousand. Net unemployed recipients of unemployment benefits fell by 0.2 thousand to 69 thousand, while recipients of social assistance stayed at 9.1 thousand. Meanwhile, the youth unemployment rate, representing job-seekers aged 16 to 24, remained at 1.1%.
